The Lippold Park Boncosky Softball Complex is hub of softball action Monday-Sunday, from May 1-October 15. During the summer and fall softball seasons, men’s teams, women’s teams and co-rec teams take the field and play for family, friends and other spectators from the community.
Many visitors to Lippold Park take a stroll through the softball complex as they explore the 310 acre park featuring hiking trails, the Rotary Club disc golf course, a total of eight baseball and four softball fields which are fenced, irrigated and lighted, nine irrigated soccer fields, three football fields, a sixty station lighted Family Golf Center, three concession stands, two sand volleyball courts, 3+ miles of biking/walking trails including the Walt Herrick, Sr. Trail and sixty acres of ponds and wetlands which provide natural areas for bird watching. Eight parking lots at Lippold and biking and walking trail access make the park easily accessible for everyone. Other amenities include restroom facilities, a playground, picnic shelter, and the Rotary softball shelter. Soccer and ball field rental is available.
This past year alone over 60,000, athletes, residents, and spectators visited Lippold Park. Many Park District affiliate groups, as well as other community groups call Lippold Park home including, American Little League, Babe Ruth Baseball, CABA World Series, The Soccer Federation, CL Raiders Football, COPA Travel Soccer, Immanuel Lutheran Soccer League, and an adult Men’s Soccer league. Seven community organizations have hosted 5K Runs within the park. St. Paul’s Church and NISRA host their annual kite fly at Lippold Park as well. Sprintturf athletic fields made their debut in Summer 2006 and the fields are a constant hub of exciting baseball and softball action.
With a completed advertising contract each advertiser will receive the following:
1– 3 ft. X 6 ft. Rugged 13 Oz. Vinyl Banner. These banners are designed to withstand high wind conditions. These banners will maintain their sharp appearance for 5+ years outdoors. One inch, double-stitched hems and brass grommets are standard.
Choice of black and 1 color with company logo , or 4 color with company logo.
Banner will be displayed from May 1 of each year until November 1. This date range ensures that your company will be visible during the entire summer softball season, the entire fall softball season and during all scheduled tournaments.
Banners are displayed along backstops, outfield fences, park entryway fences and dugout fences.
Once your company’s banner is designed and you have fulfilled 1 full advertising contract period (May 1-November 1), your company is eligible for a banner placement fee for subsequent seasons.
Your business exposed to community visitors, team fans and athletes for as low as $2.17 per day (May 1-November 1).
