Scout Programs
The Crystal Lake Park District Nature Center offers a variety of programs for scouts. We educate thousands of Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts each year about the natural world. Badge Programs for Scouts
Scout leaders can arrange programs through the Nature Center to create a hands-on approach to nature for their scouts. We currently offer over 90 program topics for Girl Scouts and more than 60 for Cub Scouts. To book your badge program call the Nature Center at (815)455-1763. And remember, evening hours are available.

Fees are as follows:
Girl Scout Programs: $8 badge included
Boy Scout Programs: $6 badge not included

Eagle Scouts and Gold Award Candidates
We have a variety of projects to enhance your skills as a leader and make a difference within your community. Here are just a few: Trailhead kiosk construction and installation, trail marking and enhancement, exhibit development, natural area restoration and landscaping.
