Young Explorers went through the American Camping Association’s Accreditation process. All of our camps are now accredited. Camp is not just entertainment and relaxation; it builds confidence, independence, and a sense of responsibility, community and an awareness of nature. The campers will meet new friends from all over town. They will develop social skills and patience, and learn water safety. Camp gives them field trip opportunities they might otherwise be able to experience, and informal sports they might not be able to start in their neighborhood such as sand soccer, whiffle ball, and capture the flag.
Children should be registered for programs according to the age they will be when the program starts or the grade they will enter in the fall of 2008.
