Crystal Lake Park District Teen Center Closing for 2010-2011 School Year

After careful consideration, due to economic reasons the Crystal Lake Park District Teen Center will not reopen for the 2010-2011 school year.  Park District staff hope to reopen the Teen Center sometime in the future. 

We hope this gives you ample time to find appropriate arrangements for your teen for the upcoming school year.  We are truly sorry for the inconvenience this may cause for your family.

Teen Program FAQ's

Q: Where are the drop off/pick up points for trips?
A: Drop off/Pick up points for trips are always at the Teen Center at Park Place,
406 W. Woodstock St., unless otherwise specified

Q: Is registration available the day of the trips?
A: Yes, but you should register early enough to make sure that you get a spot and to help us to plan for appropriate staffing arrangements.

Q: How do you choose trips and places to go?
A: The Teen Center Coordinator is always looking for trips that interest the kids. She is open to your suggestions. Feel free to email or give Connie a call at (815) 459-0680 ext. 213

Q: Are the kids supervised on the trips?
A: Yes, on trips, there are typically 1-2 Recreation Supervisor on each trip depending on the total # registered.
