- Registration begins immediately upon start receipt of brochure. (online registration opens on November 13 at 9 am) for residents.
- Non-Resident registration (online, walk-in, fax, mail-in) for Winter/Spring 2009-2010 begins on Monday, November 23 at 8:30 am.
Effective with the Summer 2009 program season, The Crystal Lake Park District Board of Commissioners Recreation Committee has approved a series of incentive programs. These programs were proposed by Park District Staff in order to assist Crystal Lake Park District program participants maintain active and healthy recreational lifestyles during this difficult economic recession.
Please take a moment to review the incentives listed below. Also, please note that all program fees within the current brochure reflect the implementation of the incentive program.

Summer Camp Fees
Multiple Child Discounts
Each additional child in a family, beyond the initial registration, will receive 5% off of their Summer Camp fee. The first child will pay full resident/non-resident price. Any additional child in that family will receive 5% off of the camp fee.

Extended Time will now open at 6:15 am and close at 6:15 pm.

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
For every class registration, fishing license purchase, building rental, picnic area rental, the participant will receive a coupon for one of the following "Buy One, Get One Free" offers:
- Buy One Round, Get One Round of Miniature Golf at Lippold Park Family Golf Center
- Buy One Bucket of Range Balls, Get One Bucket of Balls Free at the Lippold Park Family Golf Center Driving Range
- Buy One Hour Boat Rental, Get One Hour Free Boat Rental at Main Beach
Print out your Enrollment Summary Report-bring it to the Park District Administration Office Building - One E Crystal Lake Avenue (Downtown Crystal Lake) to receive your coupon.
Main Beach Concession Stand Discounts
"Free Medium Fountain Pop" with purchase of a hot dog and chips, or a slice of pizza and chips.
Non-Resident Fees
Elimination of Non-Resident Fees as listed below:
- Elimination of Non-Resident Fee for Travelers Basketball
- Elimination of Non-Resident Fees for Senior Programs and Teen Center Programs.
Cap of Non-Resident Fees at a maximum of $15 per program
- Classes that are less than $30 will still utilize the 50% additional non-resident fee with a few exceptions.
- Classes that are $30 and more will include a Non-Resident fee at a maximum of $15.
- Swim Lesson fees will include a $5 Non-Resident fee.
Future Benefits
The Crystal Lake Park Board of Commissioners and Staff are continuing to research and explore other options to benefit our participants.
If this is your first time registering online, you will need to setup your Household Profile. Failure to follow the guidelines as stated below, may cause you to be considered a non-resident and therefore be required to pay non-resident fees. Please note that classes registered online and not withdrawn within 30 minutes of initial registration will be subject to a $5 administration fee.
Please Note: You cannot register online for Extended Time, Barlina House Preschool or Softball Leagues.

Step 1: Creating a Household ID
Choose a name with a maximum of 13 characters (your last name can serve as your Household ID).
Step 2: Choose a Password
Choose a password with a maximum of 13 characters.
Step 3: Address
This step must be followed carefully, or you may be registered as a non-resident and therefore required to pay the non-resident fee.
Address Box: Type your street name only. Do not type direction (N, S, E or W) or street type (St., Ave., Blvd., etc.). They need to be entered separately.
Street Type: If this is not typed correctly, you'll be considered a non-resident! Type the two (2) initials in uppercase for your street type as follows:
AV for Avenue
BL for Boulevard
CR for Circle
CT for Court
DR for Drive
HW for Highway
LN for Lane |
PL for Place
PY for Parkway
RD for Road
ST for Street

Step 4: Birthdate
Birth dates are important when enrolling for age specific classes. You must enter a birth date for an age specific class in order to register for that class. Enter Birth Date as mm/dd/yyyy (for example, the date August 9, 2007 should be entered as 08/09/2007).
Step 5: Print your class confirmation
You will not receive a confirmation card if you register online. After enrolling in classes/programs view the Enrollment Summary screen and print your confirmation there.
