Ages 7-13
Knowing how to use a map and compass is a very useful skill. It can be pretty fun too, especially if you put those skills to use trying to find a Letterbox. Similar to geocaching, but without using GPS technology, letterboxes are treasures hidden for you to find using clues, maps and a compass. This program will teach you the skills needed to use the tools of the trade and then allow you to put them to use finding letterboxes at Veteran Acres Park.
