    Clydesdale/Athena Divisions

The philosophy behind Weight Division or Clydesdale/Athena competition is simple: big and or tall athletes may never finish first in a race, but they are excellent athletes among their peers and deserve to be recognized for their efforts and accomplishments. Athletes excel when allowed to compete on a level playing field. "Age Group" categories are now universally accepted. "Clydesdale" and "Athena" categories were created to recognize big and or tall athletes.

    Clydesdale: Men over 220 lbs

    Athena: Women over 165 lbs

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finisher as well as 1st-3rd place in each age division, Clydesdale division, and Athena division. All participants will receive a finisher medal. *Overall winners will not receive age division awards.
