Step away from screens and reconnect with the outdoors. Unplug Illinois invites us all to slow down, explore nature, and enjoy meaningful, screen-free moments together. Enjoy guided hikes, crafts while we talk about our natural world. In the evening, join us for roasted marshmallows, an illuminated hike around the Nature Center followed by star gazing and guided discussion about the night sky. Through mindful exploration and time outdoors, come discover the benefits of unplugging.
Guided hikes top of the hour:10 am-4 pm
Nature Center extended hours: 10 am-9 pm
Illuminated Hike: 5-9 pm
Stargazing: 8-9 pm
