Come explore the history of the Crystal Lake Park District Nature Center and the natural areas that surround it. Travel back in time to discover how glaciers shaped our landscape thousands of years ago, and how our Nature Center has grown over the years.

Enjoy a day exploration, discover, and local history through engaging presentations and crafts.

10 am-2 pm: Guided hikes at the top of each hour
3 pm: Nature Center History: presentation by Colonel Palmer House Supervisor, Sarah Taylor
4 pm: Nature Center trivia
