Lunch and Learn Program at Colonel Palmer House for April & May

Looking to pick up a new skill this season? Lunch and Learns have returned to the Colonel Palmer House with programs that enlighten you on various skills you can try out! Come join us for this lunch and learn at the Colonel Palmer House. Each program includes a delicious sack lunch for Participants All programs are held at the Colonel Palmer House located at 660 E. The Colonel Palmer House was built c.1858 by settlers Gustavus and Henrietta Palmer. Located on its original site, the home was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Currently the home is maintained by the Crystal Lake Park District and is home to the Crystal Lake Historical Society.

Want to know who your ancestors are? Genealogy presenter Debbie McArdle has 45 years of research experience that includes old fashioned sleuthing of courthouses, churches, cemeteries and communities. Debbie will guide the way to use proper internet genealogical libraries that will use DNA to find family connections.
