Senior Day Trips with Crystal Lake Park District

Crystal Lake Park District trips for seniors are very popular and fill quickly. If you always wanted to experience a day trip with us, we have two trips that still have openings. Registration is available online at crystallakeparks.org or in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Office, 1 E. Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake. Afternoon at The Nutcracker, Barrington, IL

Enjoy a day at the Ballet with Barrington’s very own Dance Ensemble.  The Barrington Dance Ensemble wants to celebrate the adults in our community with a special discounted performance of the Nutcracker at Barrington High School.  Food and drinks will be available before the performance.  Registration Deadline is November 20.  Transportation by Park District Bus. This trip is also open to anyone ages 12 & up with a parent or grandparent.

Phantom of the Opera at Fireside, Fort Atkinson, WI

For over a century, audiences have been captivated by the tragic story of the disfigured genius who makes his home in the cavernous underground of the Paris Opera House and falls in love with Christine-the beautiful soprano he can never have.  This moving presentation digs deep into the life of this tortured soul in a show filled with romance and mystery, thrills and excitement, colors, humor and of course their lyrical and luxurious music. Lunch menu will not be released until September 1.  Please call 815-459-0680 for menu after 9/1.  Transportation is by motor coach.  CLPD bus will transport our group to the Dundee Township Park District where we will load the motor coach for the trip.  Registration deadline is December 5 (space permitting.)
