Nature Center & Colonel Palmer House Co-op Programs July & August

Thu July 1, 2021

July and August are busy months at the Crystal Lake Park District Colonel Palmer House and The Nature Center including drop in special event fun, as well as, educational workshops.

Palmer’s Puzzles Drop- In Fun

We have something new at Colonel Palmer House- Palmer’s Puzzles! The year is 1921 and a vote has been called by concerned Crystal Lake citizens to determine if the Crystal Lake Park District will be formed to preserve land for public use. If the vote does not go through, the Consumer Ice Company will hold ownership over Crystal Lake and the land surrounding it, denying its use to local citizens. Will you be able to ensure the future of the CLPD?

The Colonel Palmer House needs your help to solve a series of puzzles leading to the ballots for the vote. Stop by the Colonel Palmer House beginning June 1 to test your puzzle-solving skills!
