Day Camp Continues with 1 week Sessions Thru August 7

The Crystal Lake Park District Day Camp program began July 6 following the DCEO, IDPH and American Camping Association (ACA) guidelines.

We are thrilled to see new campers arriving each session of camp and many returning campers. We miss the beach and field trips this summer but we have lots of exciting activities planned including: archery, crafts, fishing, games, sports, art and time with friends.

Camp is offered for the following age groups: Pee Wee (grades K-1), Junior (grades 2-3), Senior (grades 4-5), Teen (grades 6-9). For additional info including locations, fees and link to online registration, visit crystallakeparks.org, click on ‘Things to Do’ and then ‘Summer Day Camp’

Enrolling now for session dates:

M-F, Jul 20-Jul 24, 9 am-3:30 pm

M-F, Jul 27-Jul 31, 9 am-3:30 pm

M-F, Aug 3-Aug 7, 9 am-3:30 pm

Gap Camp M-F, Aug 10-14, 9 am-3:30 pm

Some wonderful things have not changed about camp! Our goals remain the same.

1. To help the campers build confidence, independence, and a sense of responsibility.

2. To build a sense of community and social skills.

3. To give campers opportunities they would not get at home. Such as small group games, art projects, scavenger hikes, and friendships.
