Crystal Lake Park District Accepting Picnic Reservations for 2021

The Crystal Lake Park District is now accepting picnic reservations for 2021. Picnic reservations are perfect for graduation parties, family reunions, employee appreciation days, fundraisers or school picnics.

 

Covered shelters and open areas are located:

Veteran Acres Park, Woodscreek Park, Sterne’s Woods, Lippold Park Skate Park Shelter, Main Beach and West Beach.

How to Make a Picnic Reservation:

All rentals must be made in person at the Administration Office, 1 E. Crystal Lake Avenue during the following hours of operation:

Mon-Fr, 8:30 am-5 pm plus extended drive-thru hours 5-6:30 pm on Wednesdays.

 

General Info

Parks are open to the public during the time of all rentals. A rental fee and maintenance deposit is required at the time of reservation. For requests that include tents, inflatables, porta-potties, etc, there is an additional fee of $75 per item and are subject to approval by Crystal Lake Park District staff.

 

Groups of 100+:

Family events with over 100 people in attendance, all organizations, businesses and leagues must secure a certificate of insurance, naming the Crystal Lake Park District as an additional insured. Reservations with alcohol (beer/wine/champagne only) require additional liquor liability insurance. A copy of the certificate must be submitted to the Administrative Office two weeks prior to the day of rental.
