What Does the Move to Tier 1 Mean
for Crystal Lake Park District Programs and Events?

Special Events

· Events listed in the brochure are moving forward as listed with face coverings and social distancing requirements

· Due to miniature golf course icy conditions, Snow What! Let’s Putt Family Mini Golf event has a new date (Feb 27) and registration is still open.

Indoor recreational activities: Tot Variety, Youth Variety Programs, Adult Variety Programs, Youth Sports Classes
· Indoor/outdoor recreation programs with less than 25 participants can take place
· All in person classes will continue to have to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
· iCook and Art Attack classes will still be held virtually as stated in the brochure.
 
Group Fitness/Yoga
· Group fitness class size limits adjusted based on room capacity
· We will continue to offer the hybrid classes (for classes with West Beach location ONLY) with Zoom and/or in person options for those interested.
· Adjustments have been made in facility to accommodate 6 foot social distancing of all participants
· Face coverings are to be worn in and out of facilities
· Hand sanitizing  stations are available for participants entering and leaving the facility
· Participants required to wipe down equipment after use
· Participants bring their own yoga mats to yoga classes and all classes bring their own water bottles

The Racket Club
The Racket Club will continue with changes made in Tier 2 Mitigations:
·Masks are no longer required on court, provided 6 feet of separation can be maintained between individuals. Masks are still required when not on court.
· Doubles play in all ways, shapes, and forms may resume.
·Decisions regarding timing of classes starting are pending
· A list of current COVID-19 Event Participation Modifications at The Racket Club is posted for all members and guests at the Racket Club front desk.
The Nature Center
· Nature Center hours of operation resumed on Jan 26
·Visitors and staff required to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
· Nature Center classes and drop in programs will resume as listed in the winter sprint guide with masks required and social distancing requirements
Nature Center Hours of Operation
Tu-Sat, 10 am-4 pm
Colonel Palmer House
· Colonel Palmer House hours of operation resume on Th, Jan 28
· Visitors and staff required to wear masks and maintain social distancing
Colonel Palmer Hours of Operation
Th, 1-4 pm and Sat, 11 am-4 pm
 
Extended Time
· Extended Time at D47 schools will continue to operate under the guidelines released by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH)
· Students and staff required to wear masks and maintain social distancing
 
Barlina House Preschool
· Barlina House Preschool will continue to operate under guidelines released by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH)
·Students and staff required to wear masks and maintain social distancing

Outdoor Sports
· Outdoor sports and recreation programs can take place with groups smaller than 25
· Low-risk sports participants may play in tournaments, championships, out-of-state play
· Medium risk sports participants may play intra-league and conference meets
·High risk sports participants may play intra-team scrimmages but may NOT engage in competitive play 
 
Grand Oaks Active Senior Center
· March 1 projected reopening
· Weekly schedule after reopening can be found in the digital guide

·To discuss a current facility rental or a facility rental you are considering for the future, please contact Lauren Thibodeau at lthibodeau@crystallakeparks.org to discuss Tier 1 Mitigation requirements.
 
Playgrounds/Parks
· All Crystal Lake Park District playgrounds and parks continue to remain open.
· Face masks and physical distancing recommended.
