Important Update June 1, 2020:

The Crystal Lake Park District's newly developed Day Camp program is anticipated to begin July 6 following the DCEO, IDPH and American Camping Association (ACA) guidelines. Staff is currently being hired and will have to go through the onboarding process along with training that consists of the typical camp staff training along with the new training program that specifically addresses the new environment due to the COVID-19 situation. Registration is now open and information can be found on our website at crystallakeparks.org.

  • Camp 2020 Pee Wee and Junior age groups will be combined. We are following all State and CDC guidelines for health and safety. This means small groups and better ratios of staff to campers.

    Our activities will be focused outdoors. The campers will enjoy scavenger hunts, nature hikes, small group games, sandcastle building, themed events, fishing and arts and crafts. As other activities open they will be added.

    Campers need sunscreen, Gym shoes and a disposable sack lunch each day. For drop off and pick up, you don't have to even get out of your car! We will be there to meet you.

  • Campers get to enjoy Veterans Acres all day! Activities include; fishing in the pond, hiking, campfires, archery, Gaga, tennis/baseball, basketball, tennis, scavenger hunts, small group games, and arts and crafts.

  • Teen Campers spend the entire day at Main Beach. Their day includes many activity choices such as basketball, baseball, volleyball, fishing, canoeing and arts and crafts. We are following all state and CDC guidelines for health and safety.

    This means smaller group size and better staff to camper ratios. The campers need sunscreen, gym shoes and a disposable sack lunch each day. At drop off and pick up there is no need to even get out of your car! We will be there to meet you.   • junior leader program will not be offered summer 2020

  • cit program will not be offered in summer 2020

  • All campers must be toilet trained.
  • Children should be registered for programs according to the age they will be when the program starts or the grade they will enter in the fall of 2020.
  • Summer camp fees are NOT transferable to any other program.
  • Any cancellation will result in a $25 per session service charge.

EMERGENCY FORMS

Once registered, you will receive an email invitation to fill out emergency forms online through campdoc.com. This needs to be done before your child may attend camp. This system will give our camp supervisors and directors instant access to required emergency forms. The security, confidentiality and privacy of your camper's personal information will always be protected. Only select Crystal Lake Park District personnel will have access to camper information and the campdoc.com site is secure and encrypted for your protection. A Healthy camp begins and ends at Home

  • **PUNCH PASS AVAILABILITY ON HOLD FOR 2020**

    10 DAY PUNCH PASS

    Campers will get a key chain fob to swipe in each day!

    If punch pass was purchased online, parents will need to come to the administration office to pick up the key chain fob before children can attend camp. Scanners will be located in the beach office or next to ET sign-in sheets.

    The punch pass option allows campers to attend ten camp days throughout the 10-week sessions. Each sibling will need their own pass for this new system. The fob will not scan twice in one day. If you lose your fob, there is a $5 replacement charge.

    Smaller passes are available for the last week of camp. PASS USAGE CAN BE SEEN ON YOUR CLPD ONLINE ACCOUNT.

  • EXTENDED TIME

    Campers enrolled in Extended Time have the option of adding mornings, afternoons or both to the regular camp day. Extended Time campers have breakfast at 7:30 am and enjoy a snack in the afternoon. ET camp activities include crafts, group games, outside play and an occasional movie. Extended Time Camp opens at 6:15 am and closes at 6:15 pm. Campers enrolled in Extended Time Camp begin each day at their camp sites.

    AM Hours 6:15 AM - 9 AM (breakfast is provided)

    PM Hours 3:30 PM - 6:15 PM

    Campers may sign up for AM, PM or BOTH based upon individual needs.
