Four Winds Casino Trip and Land of Lincoln Trip Still Have Limited Spots Available

Let the Crystal Lake Park District make it easy for you to travel with your friends. We provide the transportation and drop you off at the door. The Crystal Lake Park District offers special events, trips and weekly programs and activities for senior citizens and adults.  Registration is accepted up the posted registration deadline as long as space is available.  Registration in advance is required.  Registration is accepted at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, located at One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, or online at www.crystallakeparks.org. 

Crystal Lake Park District Trip Policy:

In order to keep trips affordable, the CLPD co-ops with other Park Districts. Departure location is dependent on number of participants from each Park District. Cancellation policy:  Refund will be given if the request falls before the cut-off date less the $5 service charge.  If the refund request falls after the cut-off date, no refunds will be given unless a replacement is able to be found.

Participants will receive $15 in slot play and a $10 food voucher for 4 hours of fun at the casino.

Land of Lincoln, Springfield, IL

Transportation via motorcoach from Veteran Acres Park

We will enjoy the Lincoln Museum. This state-of-the-art facility uses hi-tech exhibits, interactive display and multimedia programs. We will then lunch at Maldaner’s, est. 1884, featuring locally sourced ingredients influenced by Mediterranean composition. In the afternoon we will explore the Lincoln Home and Neighborhood tour. A final tour of our State Capitol with its 405-foot dome and Renaissance Revival style will round out our Springfield experience.  We will stop for a dinner in Bloomington, IL. This trip requires heavy walking.
