Free Holiday Light Recycling thru December 30

As you start decorating for the holidays, you might find not all of your lights work. Don't throw them out; recycle them.

From now through December 30, the Crystal Lake Park District will offer free holiday light recycling. Just head to the Parks Services Garage, 305 Lakeshore Dr, Crystal Lake and drop into the bin near the dumpsters.

This is only for holiday lights; no garlands, wreaths, or live greens, and no household light bulbs. For questions or more information, contact Preston Skultety, Manager of Natural Resources at pskultety@crystallakeparks.org
